The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) requires that school districts provide a free and appropriate education to all disabled children and young adults from birth through 21 years of age.  The West Bonner Schools requests assistance with the identification of any disabled children ages 0 through 21, who are not enrolled or currently being served in one of the district’s schools.  If you know of any disabled children ages 0 through 21, who are not receiving educational services, please call the West Bonner Schools Special Education Department at (208) 448-1423.

Praxis - Parapro test Information

The screenings are free and children ages birth through 5 years old will be screened in the following areas: Speech, language, gross motor, fine motor, readiness, hearing, vision, and other developmental areas.

These screenings are sponsored by the West Bonner County School District #83 and The Idaho Infant/Toddler Program.

The Priest River Elementary school is located at 231 Harriet Street in Priest River.  Screener is by appointment OnlyAt your scheduled appointment time, only One adult will be allowed to accompany the child.  If you would like to schedule an appointment for your child, please call 208-448-1181 extension 3116 and ask for Kristi Harrison
