Certified candidates must possess or be eligible for an Idaho Education Credential or have an out-of-state certification that can be endored for use in Idaho through the Idaho State Department of Education.  If you are an out-of-state applicant; you must also have documentation such as a HOUSSE Rubric, and/or Praxis Exam and/or a copy of your highly qualified status according to No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act from last employer.  If you have Idaho Certification questions, please contact the Idaho State Department of Education at www.sde.idaho.gov/site/teacher_certification or phone 208-332-6882.

Applying for a Parapro Position?

In order to apply for a paraprofessional position with the WBCSD#83, you must be considered a highly qualified per the NCLB Act.  To be highly qualified you must meet one of the following criteria.

  • Associates Degree from a College or University - any subject area
  • 30 semester college credits
  • Sucessfully passed Parapro Praxis Exam
